Background Info: The idea of having a child was a positively terrifying thought to Rainbow. Sure, over the years she gained more responsibility and even saved Equestria several times - but having a child? Far more scary! But being as loyal as the element given to her years before, she wanted to appease Fluttershy and help her have the family she always wanted (with the help of some magic). Despite Storm being born somewhat prematurely, Rainbow's fear didn't increase upon her birth; instead, she garnered a fierce sense of loyalty to the tiny thing, determined to help her get through the first tough month of life.
Personality: As a filly, Storm was what we could call a major bitch. Where Rainbow as a filly could be kinda mean, Storm had a tendency to be downright cruel, capable of expertly emotionally manipulating her victims through fear while also giving them a physical beating. She was a problem child, to say the least, her mothers trying everything they could to ease her severe anger problems. Rainbow often said she was often like a literal storm.
One fateful day when she came across someone who refused to take her shit and fought back before getting a verbal lashing from her fillyhood crush, she started to break away from her previous attitude, opening her eyes to all the wrong she did and putting as much effort as she could into pushing herself to be a better person.
From teenage-hood upwards, Storm fulfilled her promise of not being a grade-a asshole anymore, with help of those around her. She pressed her fierce energy into becoming a storm-chaser, a pony with the job of containing storms that got out of hand.
Relationships: Despite causing trouble for them, Storm does love her parents. Her prized possession is a bunny scrunchie that Fluttershy gave her when she was younger.
As a filly, the two ponies she was around most were the children of her parents friends; Emerald Blitz and Star Charmer. Emerald Blitz she had a crush on, where Star was one of those she picked on. It was Emerald who gave her the verbal lashing of a lifetime that finally knocked some sense into her head.
Eventually though, her affections did start to move from Emerald to Star; when Star revealed to the pegasus that she would help her on the road to controlling her temper, Storm was blown away by the kindness she was shown; something that motivated her further.
Even when she gets older, Storm doesn't really have a great relationship with her uncle. Where most ponies didn't really do anything to her but still incurred her wrath, Zephyr was holy-fuck annoying to her, which typically would just make her erupt.
SHE BIG
So, last March I made a bio for Star Charmer and promised I'd do more bios. I was thinking I should stick to doing a certain thing art-wise for now instead of loading y'all with a ton of different fanart, so I think I will stick to trying to shovel out all my nextgen characters.
Dusk Storm was originally called Sparking Storm, but I enjoyed the change of name to fit with the attitude she had as a kid, and with her talent. She is a big beefcake compared to her tiny but muscular Rainbow Mom and twiggy Fluttershy Mama.
So there will be more bios. Gonna add Emerald Blitz next, maybe tomorrow!
